Commerce Bank Announces Officer Promotions and Elections
KANSAS CITY, MO - July 29, 2003 - The Board of Directors of Commerce Bank, Kansas City, announced the following officer promotions and elections.
Dean Best has been promoted to Vice President in the Commercial Lending department. Best is responsible for business development and customer service related to Commerce's commercial banking products and services. He has more than eight years of experience in commercial lending and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Indiana University, Bloomington, Ind.
Donna Lowmiller has been promoted to Vice President in The Commerce Trust Company, a division of Commerce. She is responsible for the administration of personal trust accounts while providing expertise in the areas of estate and tax planning. Lowmiller has been with Commerce for 26 years and is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor. Lowmiller holds a degree from Southern Methodist University's School of Trust Banking, Dallas, Texas.
Ron McMickle has been promoted to Vice President in the Information Technology department. McMickle is the Unit Manager for the Voice Telecommunications group and oversees all voice communications, including interactive voice response systems, voice mail, call management and call accounting systems. He has nearly 39 years of combined experience in the areas of information technology and voice telecommunications.
Cory Stone has been elected Officer in the Retail division of the bank. He is responsible for managing retail sales and customer service at the HyVee branch in Lawrence, Kansas. He is a member of the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce and a Junior Achievement volunteer. Stone has more than seven years of experience in Retail Banking and is pursing his Bachelors of Business Administration degree from Baker University, Baldwin City, Kan.
Sharon McNary-Taylor has been elected to Officer in the Operations department and is responsible for the supervision of CD and IRA backroom operations. She has 43 years of experience in the banking industry and is an active member of the Clay County Cattlemen's Association and past member of the Greater Kansas City Jaycees. Commerce Bank awarded McNary-Taylor its Operations Service Award and the Operations ALL Star.
Tod Hooker has been elected to Officer in the Treasury Services department. He assists in the management, evaluation and development of Commerce Bank's Treasury Services products. Hooker has four years of experience in the banking industry and is a member of the Kansas City Association for Financial Professionals and the National Association for Financial Professionals. He holds degrees in Animal Science and Finance from Kansas State University, Manhattan, Kan.
Jeannette Wilkinson has been elected to Officer in the Operations department. She is responsible for the Risk Control, Reconcilement and Photo Research areas of the Operations department. Wilkinson has 26 years of experience in bank operations, and Commerce awarded her its Operations Excellence and Operations All Star Awards.
