Commerce Bank Ground Breaking Ceremony Marks Construction Of New Tower Grove Banking Center
ST. LOUIS - August 7, 2003 - Commerce Bank Executives and St. Louis City officials, held a ground breaking ceremony this morning to mark the construction of the new Commerce Bank Tower Grove banking center, located at 3134 S. Grand, the site of the old Commerce Bank Tower Grove branch. The new branch is scheduled to open in Spring 2004.
The remodeled Commerce Banking Center will provide full-service banking to individuals and businesses and will offer a complete range of retail, mortgage and investment services. Upon completion, the bank will include 5 drive-through lanes, 2 ATMs, and more than 9,000 sq. feet of floor space for tellers, financial services representatives, and personal.
Fran Fanara, Senior Vice President and Group Manger for Commerce Bank in St. Louis commented, "As we break ground today, we look forward to the future of the Tower Grove community. This new building will compliment the architectural integrity of the South Grand neighborhood and is much better suited to serve the changing needs of our customer base. Kennedy Associates Incorporated, is the architect for the project and Lawlor Corporation is the general contractor.
