Commerce Bank Announces Officer Promotions and Elections

KANSAS CITY, MO - August,13 2003 - The Board of Directors of Commerce Bank, Kansas City, announced the following officer promotions and elections.

Peter Stekr has been elected Vice President in the Capital Markets Group of Commerce Bank where he is responsible for buying and selling bonds to the regional dealer community. Stekr brings more than 10 years experience in this area to Commerce Bank. He has a Masters of Science degree in Finance from the University of Colorado, Denver, CO and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Colorado State University, Ft. Collins, CO.

Felecia Hogan has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Operations. In this capacity, she manages the Retail Remittance Processing area where she is responsible for budgeting, capacity forecasting, training and development. Hogan served as the Co-Chairperson of the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church Women's Conference in both 2001 and 2003. She is a graduate of Webster University, Kansas City, MO with a degree in Management and Business.

Kevin M. Belloma has been elected an Officer in the Retail Lending and Payment Systems department where his principal responsibilities are to provide technical and implementation support for the Bank's merchant card and commercial card software packages. Belloma has five years of experience in the banking industry. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Park University, Kansas City, MO.
