COMMERCE TRUST COMPANY ANNOUNCES NEW EMPLOYEES

WICHITA, KS - November 26, 2003 - Rob Pestinger, Executive Vice President of The Commerce Trust Company, announced the following new employees.

Jennifer L. Stultz has joined the Commerce Trust Company as a Vice President and Trust Administrator. She graduated from the Washburn University School of Law in 1995 and practiced law in the areas of estate planning and probate/trust administration. She will be responsible for the administration of personal trust accounts and providing estate planning advisory services to existing clients and prospective clients of the Commerce Trust Company.

Debra D. Eaves joined the Commerce Trust Company as a Private Banking officer. Debbie has 28 years of banking experience in the areas of commercial lending, private banking and human resources. She attended Fort Hays State University and also holds NASD Series 6, 7 and 63 securities licenses. She will be responsible for developing new business and servicing existing clients in the Private Banking area of the Commerce Trust Company.
