Overdraft Transfer is a transfer from another Commerce checking or savings account
Option 1: Checking Plus Overdraft Protection
How it Works:
If an overdraft occurs, we’ll automatically cover your account with a Cash Advance from your Commerce Visa®, MasterCard® or personal Line of Credit by depositing the funds into your Commerce Bank checking account. View example.
You’ll receive a notice of the transfer. Cash Advances are made in increments of $50, up to your available credit limit.
The cost of utilizing Checking Plus Overdraft Protection is the Cash Advance fee plus interest.
How to Sign Up:
If you don’t have a Commerce Visa, MasterCard or personal Line of Credit, apply today.
If you already have a Commerce Visa, MasterCard or personal Line of Credit and would like to add Checking Plus Overdraft Protection, visit your nearest Commerce Branch or call us at 1-800-453-2265 today.
Option 2: Overdraft Transfer
How it Works:
If an overdraft occurs, we’ll automatically cover your account with a transfer from another Commerce checking, savings or money market account that you’ve designated to provide Overdraft Protection. View example.
You’ll be charged a fee of $7.00 per occurrence.
The transfer will be in the exact amount of the item(s) overdrawing your account, plus the fee.
The amount of an Overdraft Transfer is limited by the available balance in the protecting account.
