Graduate PLUS Loan Pre-Approval

Getting pre-approved before you apply for your Graduate PLUS Loan will make the application process go more smoothly. It's simple. Just follow these two steps:

Step 1: Gather the information that you'll need:

• Your Social Security Number
• Name of the college or university you will attend
• Total loan amount you're requesting
  (Total cost of graduate education - financial aid = amount you can request)
• Loan period (e.g. Fall 2006 - Spring 2007)

Once you're Pre-Approved, what's next?

You'll need to complete your Graduate PLUS Loan Master Promissory Note (MPN). This is your actual loan agreement. You can complete your Graduate PLUS MPN online using E-Signature or print the form, complete it, and mail it to Commerce Bank.
