Steve consults with high-net-worth individuals to provide financial, tax, business succession and estate planning solutions. Steve received a B.A. in 1969 and a law degree and MBA in 1974, all from the University of Kansas. Prior to joining Commerce, Steve was in private practice for 22 years, the last 12 years with a major Kansas City law firm as a partner in its estate planning practice group.

Holding both Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner® certifications, Guy’s extensive experience in financial planning includes working for banking and accounting institutions as a financial planner and tax advisor. His experience includes planning for financial independence, executive compensation, estate preservation, philanthropy and business succession.

Guy is a member of several organizations, including the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He speaks and writes regularly on financial issues and has served as a faculty member for the American Banking Association National Trust School. Guy received his Bachelor of Administration in Business/Economics from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Ill.

David Stubblefield

David is part of a team whose responsibilities include providing quality objective financial advice for clients and prospects of Commerce Trust. David joined Commerce in 1995 and has held positions in private banking, credit analysis, commercial business development and retail sales. David holds both the Certified Financial Planner® and Certified Divorce Financial AnalystTM designations. David's areas of focus include planning for financial independence, retirement, divorce, executive compensation, estate preservation and business succession.

David is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
