Commerce Named One of the World's Best Employers by Forbes
Commerce takes highest ranking among U.S. regional banks
This recognition marks the fifth time in 2019 that Commerce has appeared on a Forbes’ list, including America’s Best Mid-Size Employers, World’s Best Banks and America’s Best Banks. Commerce was also recently named a 2019 Engaged Performance Award Winner by Korn Ferry, one of only 37 global companies to be recognized for both employee engagement and enablement.
“Our core values are focused on doing the right thing – for our customers, our team members and our shareholders. They not only guide how we do business, but they foster a culture our team members are proud of and that encourages each of us to be our authentic selves and do our best work,” Sara Foster, Executive Vice President, Talent & Corporate Administration. “We’re honored to receive this recognition and remain committed to ensuring Commerce continues to be a top workplace.”
Forbes partnered with the market research firm Statista to create the list of the world’s 2,000 largest public companies by asking respondents worldwide to rate their employer and whether they would recommend that employer to a friend or family member. Over 1.4 million employment recommendations were collected.
