Chris Purdum Named to Wichita Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2020

Chris PurdumWichita, KS – Chris Purdum, Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking, has been named to Wichita Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2020. The award recognizes young professionals who demonstrate high levels of achievement and leadership throughout their careers and make an impact in the communities they represent.

Purdum is responsible for commercial banking business development efforts and managing new and existing relationships throughout south central Kansas. His knowledge and experience spans a variety of industries including manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, agriculture and energy production.

Purdum plays an active role in the community currently serving as the board chair for the Junior Achievement Wichita Advisory Board and Carpenter Place Children’s Home Board of Trustees. He is also a board member with the Shocker Athletic Scholarship Association and Wichita State University Music Associates and volunteers regularly as a youth coach with the YMCA and League 42. Purdum graduated magna cum laude with bachelors degrees in finance and international business from Wichita State University.
