Commerce Bank teams up with Arch Apparel to support youth financial literacy by raising funds to benefit Junior Achievement
St. Louis, MO – Commerce Bank will donate up to $10,000 to Junior Achievement by matching every dollar shoppers spend on Arch Apparel’s Midwest Collection November 26 through November 30. Arch Apparel is a retailer that specializes in clothing and accessories showcasing Midwest pride.
Commerce Bank and Arch Apparel’s shared Midwestern roots and commitment to building strong communities led to the collaboration. Proceeds from the effort benefit Junior Achievement, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed. The promotional period includes Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday, and Giving Tuesday, a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.1
“Commerce Bank is excited to collaborate with Arch Apparel on this fundraiser for Junior Achievement,” says Chuck Kim, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Commerce Bancshares, Inc. and Junior Achievement of Greater St. Louis board member. “Arch Apparel embodies the entrepreneurial spirit we encourage in Junior Achievement. It just makes sense that this collaboration starts on Black Friday, one of the biggest shopping days of the year, and runs through Giving Tuesday. It’s the perfect way for all of us to support a small business and give back to the community at the same time.”
Arch Apparel owner, Aaron Park, also appreciates the synergies of the collaboration. “It means a lot for a growing business like ours to team up with a well-established company like Commerce Bank. We are eager to help customers find the perfect gift or addition to their wardrobe in our store or online and help benefit Junior Achievement at the same time.”
