Commerce Bank featured in The Age of Agile film at Kansas City FilmFest International
Kansas City, Mo. – Commerce Bank is one of three organizations featured in “The Age of Agile”, a documentary short by Digital Dreams Productions, that is showing at the Kansas City FilmFest International on Tuesday, April 26 at 4:30 pm.
The film, loosely based on a book with the same name by Stephen Denning, made its debut to a limited audience at the World Agility Forum in Lisbon on September 25, 2021. Since then, it has been shared at 29 film festivals around the world, winning numerous awards, including the London Independent Film Award, Florence Film Festival Award, and San Francisco Indie Short Festival Award.
The 22-minute documentary shows how Commerce Bank, The Joint Special Operations Command, and the Royal Danish Ballet navigate existential crises and embrace the challenges of a digital world by using Agile thinking. Agile is both a mindset and a set of business practices that guide how organizations approach work with the goal of better adapting products and services to meet the constantly changing needs of customers.
Commerce Bank leaders John Kemper, president and chief executive officer, Commerce Bancshares, Inc.; Chuck Kim, executive vice president and chief financial officer; Dave Roller, senior vice president and chief information officer; Sara Foster, executive vice president of talent and corporate administration; and Patty Kellerhals, senior vice president and director of core retail banking are featured in the film and share how Commerce applies Agile practices across the organization.
