Forbes names Commerce Bank among the world’s best banks for fourth consecutive year

St. Louis – Commerce Bank has been included on Forbes’ list of the World’s Best Banks 2022 for the fourth consecutive year. Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to produce the list — surveying more than 45,000 customers around the globe for their opinions on their current and former banking relationships. Banks were rated based on overall satisfaction and key criteria including trust, terms and conditions, digital services, customer service and financial advice.

Commerce Bank is one of only 75 banks in the United States to be recognized on the list, which includes more than 400 banks from 27 countries around the world.

“Commerce Bank is honored to be named among the world’s best banks for the fourth year in a row. This recognition is particularly meaningful since it is based largely on customer feedback,” said John Kemper, president and chief executive officer, Commerce Bancshares, Inc. “This award is a testament to the way our team members help customers, every day, to take on financial challenges and to find solutions that meet their needs. Experiences like this are the foundation of long-term customer relationships.”

This recognition from Forbes follows Commerce Bank’s placement on their Best Midsize Employers in America and America’s Best Banks lists in 2022.
