Commerce Bank reaches goal to donate $10,000 to animal welfare charitable organizations
ST. LOUIS – Commerce Bank’s third annual #DriveUpPups promotion reached its goal to donate a total of $10,000 split between nine local non-profit organizations who help improve the safety and wellbeing of animals in our communities. The promotion resulted in more than 12,200 social media engagements that reached more than 365,000 people.
From July 1 through September 30, customers were encouraged to visit their local Commerce Bank drive-thru with their pup to receive a treat, snap a photo of their pup enjoying the treat, then share the photo on Instagram tagging @CommerceBank and using #DriveUpPups. While customers participated in the fun, Commerce Bank pledged a $10 donation for each photo to benefit the charity partners up to a $10,000 maximum.
“We are delighted to see such large engagement from our customers during our annual #DriveUpPups promotion,” said Adam Steven, executive vice president and director of regional retail banking for Commerce Bank. “It is such a joy seeing our customers bring in their furry friends to visit for their much-deserved treat. An added benefit is being able to support nine of our local charitable organizations dedicated to animal welfare and making the world a better place for our pets.”
Organizations who will receive donations include Central Missouri Humane Society, Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, KC Pet Project, Southeast Missouri Pets, Tulsa SPCA, Friends of the Animal Shelter of St. Joseph, Kansas Humane Society, Northeast Missouri Humane Society, and Tower Grove Park.
