Jennifer Upton receives ‘Global Innovation Rising Star’ award from BAI

St. Louis – The Bank Administration Institute (BAI), a non-profit industry organization providing support and resources to the banking sector, selected Jennifer Upton, senior vice president and director of corporate strategy and innovation, for the 2023 BAI Global Innovation Rising Star Award.

BAI’s Rising Star award honors up-and-coming leaders who are innovative, passionate, intellectually curious and make a positive impact in the financial services industry. Throughout Upton’s career, she continuously displays her passion and drive towards innovative thinking and positive change for Commerce Bank, proving that she is the perfect fit for this award.

To affirm this recognition, Upton’s leader, Paula Petersen, executive vice president and executive director of consumer segment and strategic services, says, “Jennifer’s unwavering curiosity and commitment to the customer experience is admirable.
