Commerce Bank donates $10,000 to support local animal welfare non-profits
St. Louis, MO – Commerce Bank’s fourth consecutive #DriveUpPups campaign reached its goal to donate a total of $10,000 to 11 local non-profit organizations that improve the safety and wellbeing of animals.
From July 1 through September 30, customers were encouraged to visit their local Commerce drive-thru with their dog to receive a treat, take a photo of their four-legged friend enjoying the treat, and share it on Instagram tagging @CommerceBank and using #DriveUpPups. For each photo posted and tagged, Commerce pledged a $10 donation to charity partners across Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma, up to $10,000.
“We’re elated to see continued high engagement from our customers for our annual #DriveUpPups campaign,” said Adam Steven, executive vice president, director of retail banking, Commerce Bank. “Our bankers are passionate about giving back to our communities and are overjoyed when pups visit our branches. An added benefit to this year’s campaign is being able to support 11 local charities that make the world a better place for pets.”
