Commerce Bank recognized on Forbes America’s Best Employer by State list in Missouri
St. Louis, MO – Commerce Bank has been named to Forbes America’s Best Employers by State list in Missouri. This award, presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., was based on an independent survey from a vast sample of over 160,000 employees working for companies employing at least 500 people within the U.S. In total, around 4.4 million employer evaluations were considered.
The ranking is open to companies from all industry sectors and considers data from three years, allowing for robust differentiation between organizations that consistently perform well, and those that may have only had a single good year. Employers’ final scores, determined on a state-by-state basis, are built upon personal and public evaluations. Personal evaluations consider employees’ willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family, whereas public evaluations are recommendations from friends and family members of employees, or members of the public who work in the same industry.
“It’s truly an honor to be recognized on Forbes’ list as one of Missouri’s best employers,” said Kim Jakovich, senior vice president, executive director, talent management, Commerce Bank. “The list looks at organizations that are doing what it takes to retain their employees and keep them engaged. We've worked hard to create a culture that prioritizes our people, and I’m proud of the resources we continue to develop to support the evolving needs of our team.”
