Commerce Bank recognized on Forbes’ America’s Best Midsize Employers list for eighth year
St. Louis, MO – Commerce Bank earned a spot on Forbes’ 2025 America’s Best Midsize Employers list for the eighth year in a row. According to Forbes, they’ve been “...tracking companies and organizations as they’ve navigated an era of lightning-speed technological innovation, economic and geopolitical instability, a global pandemic that prompted drastic changes in how and where we do business, and cultural and generational shifts that have amalgamated the composition of the country’s adult workforce.”
Forbes and market research firm Statista partnered on this annual ranking to survey more than 217,000 U.S.-based employees working at companies that employ more than 1,000 people, deeming those with 1,000 to 5,000 employees midsize. Survey participants were asked to rate their employer on varying factors including salary, work environment, training programs and opportunities to advance, and were also asked if they’d recommend their employer to others. Following comprehensive research and survey evaluations, the top 498 companies were named to the list.
“It’s extremely rewarding to be recognized as one of America’s Best Midsize Employers for the eighth year in a row,” said Kim Jakovich, executive vice president and executive director, talent management, Commerce Bank. “I believe this continued recognition reflects our commitment to evolving with the changing needs of our team while fostering a culture where people feel valued, supported and empowered to grow. This honor is especially significant as it’s driven by insights directly provided by team members, reinforcing our commitment to helping our team focus on what matters most.”
