Process too cumbersome to increase credit limit
I am very frustrated about the effort it took to get a higher credit limit despite having a high income and excellent credit score. I was initially given only a $2K credit limit. I was stunned by how low it was. In order to get more, I was told to wait 6 mo and my credit limit would automatically be re-evaluated. When that did not happen I was told to re-apply for another credit card which I reluctantly did online. I got another $3K credit limit from that. But I had to call twice in order to get the 2 cards merged into one account after making sure that I had a $0 balance on each acct. The process of asking for a higher credit limit is very odd and time-consuming. I wanted a higher credit limit so that I could comfortably charge up to a minimum $4-5K on the card each month without having to constantly monitor my balance before the due date. I have 2 other bank credit cards with limits of $25K+ so I find a limit of $5K to be very low considering a credit rating of 829. It was also frustrating not being able to talk to anyone who actually handles credit limits and explain why the credit limit given to me was so low. There are no local Commerce banks so all of my interaction was over the phone. Everyone I talked to was courteous, but the process was ridiculous. The process for my other bank cards has been to send a simple request online asking for a higher credit limit and getting a very speedy response.

Worthless!!
The credit card has a joke of a credit limit and anytime I use it the card will max out and it kills my credit rating which is around 800. It took a month for you to cash a check I sent in for the balance so I cancel the check and paid by phone. Now you wait about 10 days to clear the phone payment. Worthless!!

All my food purchases go on this card as work to earn free hotel rooms when I travel. Needless to say the 15 points per dollar spent at Drury Inns are most welcome.

I love staying at Drury Inns. Free breakfast is great. I recently noticed the rates have really gone up!

Love my Drury Rewards Credit Card!
I got a Drury Rewards credit card when I found out about earning points to stay at their wonderful hotels by using it. It's not the only credit card I have but I use it for most of my credit charges for that reason and because their founders/owners seem more "conservative" than the other cards I have. When I have called their customer service has always been very good and paying the card balance by phone is easy.

Drury Inn continues to provide a good quality service, however we did come down with scabies after our last trip to the Drury Inns. Drury is the only place we stay as we travel across the United states Four times a year. At 81 years old our doctor could only conclude we got from the sheets at a Drury Inn.
