What is Face ID? What is Touch ID or fingerprint login?
Both Apple® and Android™ use versions of authentication technology. Depending on your model, your phone may use facial recognition or fingerprint authentication as a replacement for your password; this may be used to log in to our mobile app. Refer to your device’s user’s manual for additional information about this technology.
To set up Face ID, click on the green menu button, select Profile, Settings, & Alerts, select Use Face ID, and then click on the button to enable the feature.
We do not recommend activating Face ID or fingerprint login features if you share your phone or device with others. Anyone with access to your device can add a fingerprint to your device — and once added, that fingerprint can be used to access the Commerce Bank Mobile App, and any other apps that you’ve set up to use fingerprint authentication.
